MAC college basketball continues with the Kent State Golden Flashes hosting the Toledo Rockets.

The Toledo Rockets are riding a three game winning streak after downing Ohio 75-52 on Friday as an 8.5 point home favorite.

Toledo jumped to a 14 point lead at the halfway point and continued to press the issue over the final 20 points behind 48% shooting.

Luke Knapke was the Rockets top offensive option with 16 points and nine rebounds with Marreon Jackson adding 14 points, five pulls and five helpers.

Jaelen Sanford gave Toledo another 14 points and five helpers followed by Willie Jackson and Chris Darrington with a combined 15 points.

The Kent State Golden Flashes have won back to back contests after defeating Northern Illinois 78-68 as a 2.5 point home favorite on Saturday.

Kent State took control late behind a 50-38 second half run with a 47.4%-42.9% shooting edge and a 17-20 effort at the line.

Jaylin Walker was the Golden Flashes go to scorer pouring in 31 points and hauling in eight rebounds with Antonio Williams adding 13 points and five helpers.

Kent State saw 12 points and three yanks from Akiaen Frederick followed by Philip Whittington who chipped in with eight points and five helpers.
