Atlantic Ten college basketball brings us a matchup between the Fordham Rams and La Salle Explorers.

The Fordham Rams defeated the George Washington Colonials 67-56 on Wednesday as a four point home favorite that ended a four game slide.

Jalen Cobb led a balanced Rams offense with 15 points, three yanks and three assists with Ivan Raut adding 14 points and three pulls.

Fordham received 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists from Ty Perry while Chuba Ohams and Nick Honor combined for 21 points, 15 rebounds and eight helpers.

The La Salle  Explorers were  manhandled  by the Dayton Flyers  70-39  on Wednesday night  as  a 10.5  point  road underdog.

David Beatty topped a struggling La Salle offense with nine points and two yanks with Jared Kimbrough netting eight points and hauling in nine rebounds.

La Salle received another eight points and two pulls from Isiah Deas followed by Traci Carter and Saul Phiri who chipped  in with six points apiece.

Fordham Rams are 12-25-1 ATS in their last 38 vs. Atlantic 10 and  are 8-21 ATS in their last 29 games following a straight up win and  are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400.

La Salle Explorers are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 and  are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall and  are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 vs. Atlantic 10.

Under is 11-2 in the last 13 meetings and Fordham Rams are 4-9-2 ATS in the last 15 meetings in La Salle and Fordham Rams are 1-5-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings.

I’d go small on the Explorers if I bet this but this looks like a needless risk…

La Salle -4.5

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
