We have some Patriot League action on the hardwood Sunday afternoon, as the Loyola-Maryland Greyhounds take on the Lafayette Leopards in a college basketball matchup.
The Loyola-Maryland Greyhounds will look to find some consistent play after splitting their last 6 games, including a 72-69 win over American in their last outing. As a team, Loyola-Maryland is scoring 70.7 points per game on 44.4% shooting from the field, 33% from behind the arc and 66.9% from the foul line this season.
The Lafayette Leopards will also try to find some consistent play after splitting their own last 6 games, including an 81-54 rout of Army last time out. Klinewski shot 4 of 9 from the floor with 6 rebounds, while Jaworski shot 5 of 7 with 3 triples. E.J. Stephens added 10 points on 4 of 5 shooting with a pair of threes to round out the quartet of double digit scorers for the Leopards in the win, while Paulius Zalys added 6 points with a team-high 10 rebounds and Eric Stafford added team-highs of 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks in the win. Loyola-Maryland is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a win and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall. The under is 5-2-1 in Lafayette’s last 8 home games against a team with a losing road record and 5-2 in their last. 7 conference matchups.
I don’t know much about either of these teams and both come in in pretty similar form, however the trends for Loyola point to the Greyhounds struggling to follow up a win here, so I’ll lay the points with Lafayette in this one.
