The Liberty Flames welcome the Kennesaw State Owls to town in Atlantic Sun college basketball tilt.

The Kennesaw State Owls struggles continued in a 78-56 loss at the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles as a 12.5 point underdog on Saturday.

Kennesaw State has dropped four in a row and are mired in the conference basement with two games to play in the regular season.

Bryson Lockley was the Owls top threat with 15 points and eleven rebounds followed by Danny Lewis who netted 13 points.

Tyler Hooker gave Kennesaw State eleven points and six boards followed by Kosta Jankovic with another four points and four pulls.

The Liberty Flames look to get back in the win column after dropping a 75-70 decision at North Florida as a five point favorite.

Liberty saw their winning streak end with the loss to North Florida yet are still sitting atop the Atlantic Sun with two games to play.

Caleb  Homesly led  the  Flames with 17 points and three yanks followed by  Scottie  James with  14  points and  14  rebounds.

George Pacheo-Ortiz and Keenan Gumbs gave Liberty 14 points and four boards apiece while Elijah Cuffee chipped in with five points and three yanks.

Kennesaw State Fighting Owls are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 vs. Atlantic Sun and Kennesaw State Fighting Owls are 7-17 ATS in their last 24 games overall.

Liberty Flames are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall andLiberty Flames are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Atlantic Sun.

Kennesaw State has zero chance at the upset and will lose by 25+ if Liberty decides to press the issue. I don't know if the Flames care if they win by 20 or 25...

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
