Garrison Matthews paced the Bison upset with a record setting 44 points, eight rebounds and three assists with Kenny Cooper adding 12 points, four pulls and seven helpers.
Lipscomb received nine points and five boards from Matt Rose followed by Rob Marberry and Ahsan Asadullah with eight points apiece with Asabullah blocking four shots.
The Wichita State Shockers turned to their defense in downing the Indiana Hoosiers 73-63 on Tuesday to earn their spot in the NIT semifinals.
Markis McDuffie was the Shockers top weapon with 21 points and four pulls while Dexter Dennis tossed in 17 points to go along with four boards and six blocks.
Samajae Haynes-Jones gave Wichita State 13 points and six boards with Erik Stevenson adding nine points, four pulls and four assists followed by Jaime Echenique with four points and eleven rebounds.
