Sun Belt college basketball action gives us the UL Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns facing the Texas State Bobcats.

The Texas State Bobcats four straight games by a grand total of eleven points so their record could be much better. Texas State comes off of a 70-68 OT loss at Texas Arlington where the team was outshot 44.6%-35.6% which was the difference.

Tre’Larenz Nottingham kept the Bobcats competitive with 24 points on 7-20 from the floor including 6-15 from deep. Nijal Pearson gave Texas State another 18 points and ten rebounds while Eric Terry chipped in with eight points.

The UL Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns improved to 11-1 in the Sun Belt with a 102-91 win at Georgia Southern as a five point favorite. UL Lafayette held a 51.5%-43.5% shooting edge which added up to eight more field goals. 

Jonathan Stove paced an explosive Ragin’ Cajuns attack with 28 points and seven pulls with Frank Bartley IV adding 21 points and five yanks. ULL received 18 points and 13 rebounds from Bryce Washington with Malik Marquetti scoring 13 points.

Texas State are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 road games. ULL are 9-0 ATS in their last 9 home games and ULL are 16-4-1 ATS in their last 21 vs. Sun Belt and under is 8-2 in ULL last 10 overall. Texas State are 1-7 ATS in the last 8 meetings.
