Friday college basketball action pits the Georgia Southern Eagles at the UL Monroe Warhawks.

The Georgia Southern Eagles come off of a 103-86  victory  at UL Lafayette as a one point  road favorite on  Wednesday night.

Georgia Southern jumped to 51-38 lead at the break and continued to score the basketball until the final horn behind 53.8% shooting.

Tookie Brown led the Eagles scoring spree with 32 points, seven boards and four helpers with Quan Jackson adding 23 points and five pulls.

David-Lee Jones Jr. gave GSU 15 points followed by Isaiah Crawley and Montae Glenn with 13 and eight points and 14 combined rebounds.

The UL Monroe Warhawks outscored Georgia State 82-76 on Wednesday as a 2.5 point home favorite which snapped a three game skid.

UL Monroe led by six points at the intermission and traded baskets over the final 20 minutes with a 21-7 edge at the stripe being decisive.

Daishon Smith carried the Ragin’ Cajuns as he poured in a game high 36 points with eight boards and seven helpers while Travis Munnings adding 12 points and nine rebounds.

JD Williams and Michael Ertel gave ULL another 12 points each with Ertel posting six pulls followed by Andre Washington with seven points and seven rebounds.
