The UL Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns host the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers in a Sun Belt college basketball tilt. 

The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers are coming off of a 95-82 victory versus Georgia State on Saturday as a 1.5 point home dog.

Coastal Carolina was steaming towards a top four spot in the Sun Belt before a four game slide left the team staring at 7thin the standings.

Tyell Gumbs-Frater paced the Chanticleers upset pouring in 29 points with four pulls while Zac Cubertson tossed in 15 points and hauled in 14 rebounds.

Tommy Burton gave Coastal Carolina another 15 points and eight boards followed by Ebrima Dibba and DeVante Jones with seven points each.

The Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns look to get back in the win column after a 64-62 loss at Texas State as a six point underdog on Saturday.

UL Lafayette had won three in a row and were challenging for 4thin the Sun Belt but the team can crack the top four with four games remaining on the schedule.

Cedric Jones topped the Ragin’ Cajuns with a game high 25 points and three pulls with Jakeenan Gant netting 13 points and hauling in 17 rebounds.

Marcus Stroman gave Louisiana-Lafayette eight points and seven helpers followed by Justin Miller who tossed in seven points.
