The Clemson Tigers and the Louisville Cardinals will meet up on the college basketball court Saturday.

Clemson is currently sitting at 15-9 on the season. Following a four-game win streak over Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech, Clemson fell in their last game versus Miami FL.

In their loss to the Hurricanes, Clemson’s Marcquise Reed led the way on 19 points with four rebounds. Elijah Thomas added 16 points with nine boards for the Tigers there, and Shelton Mitchell had 15 points with five rebounds.

Over on the Louisville side, they’re 17-8 this year. The Cardinals have lost four of their last five games, dropping to North Carolina, Florida State and Duke during that stretch of outings.

In the loss to Duke, Louisville’s top scorer was Jordan Nwora, who doubled up on 23 points, 12 rebounds and three assists. Dwayne Sutton added 15 points and six boards for the Cardinals there, and Christen Cunningham managed 12 assists.

The Tigers are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall and 5-1 ATS in the last six versus the ACC. Clemson is 4-9 ATS in their last 13 after an ATS loss and the under is 5-0 in their last five after an ATS loss.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals are 4-0 ATS in their last four after a straight-up loss and 6-2 ATS in their last eight overall. Louisville is 6-2 ATS in the last eight versus the ACC and the under is 5-1 in their last six Saturday games.

The Tigers were on a pretty good run during their win streak, and shut down a few solid squads. If not for the one-point loss on the road to Miami during their last outing (which easily could have turned out differently) they would still be on that streak.

As for the Cardinals, they’ve had to go up against some primo competition lately, with mixed results. I still think Louisville wins here, but Clemson may be able to get in there and cover.

Clemson Tigers +6.5
