The Miami Hurricane go on the road to face the Louisville Cardinals in ACC college basketball action.

The Miami Hurricanes saw their three game winning streak end in an 87-82 defeat to visiting NC State as a 2.5 point home dog on Thursday.

Miami squandered an eight point half time lead with both teams sinking shots at around 46% with the Wolfpack managing seven more shots.

Charles Lykes kept the Hurricanes competitive with a contest high 28 points with Zach Johnson adding 21 points, five boards and four helpers.

Anthony Lawrence II gave Miami 12 points, six boards and three assists followed by a ten point, eleven rebound effort from Ebuka Izundu.

The Louisville Cardinals begin conference play off of a 71-58 loss to visiting Kentucky as a two point underdog. Louisville trailed by eight at the break and were not able to rally with the Wildcats holding a 50.9%-36.4% shooting edge. 

The Cardinals saw 20 points and four helpers from Christen Cunningham while Jordan Nwora added 17 points and seven rebounds.

Darius Perry and Steven Enoch gave Louisville five points each with Enoch hauling in nine rebounds while five others combined for eleven points.
