NCAA BB | North Carolina Tar Heels (20-7) at Louisville Cardinals (18-8)

On Saturday from the KFC Yum! Center, the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Louisville Cardinals will be meeting up on the college basketball court.

North Carolina enters this matchup with a 20-7 record overall. The Tar Heels have won their last four games and took out Notre Dame on Monday. In that one, North Carolina guard Joel Berry put up 21 points.

Heading up the scoring for North Carolina this year is Luke Maye with 18.3 PPG and 10.4 RPG, while Berry has 17.5 PPG. Also in double-figures for the Tar Heels are Cameron Johnson (13.1 PPG; 16 games) and Kenny Williams (11.6 PPG).

Over on the Louisville side, they’re sitting at 18-8 on the season. The Cardinals have won their last two consecutive games, and beat Pittsburgh on Sunday. In that game, Louisville had three players leading the way on 14 points.

Tops in scoring for Louisville is Deng Adel with 15.5 PPG and 5.1 RPG. Also in the double-figures club for the Cardinals are Quentin Snider (12.1 PPG; 4.1 APG) and Ray Spalding (11.4 PPG; 8.8 RPG).

North Carolina is 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 4-0 ATS in their last four versus the ACC. The Tar Heels are also 4-1 ATS in their last five following an ATS win and 1-4-1 ATS in the last six road games.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight following an ATS win and 5-1-1 ATS in the last seven following a straight-up win. Louisville is also 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 overall and 9-3-1 ATS in the last 13 versus the ACC.

North Carolina has been on a nice run of scoring lately, with at least 82 points in each of their last four games. Louisville has been putting up the points as well, logging at least 73 in each of their last four outings. I’m going to go with the Cardinals to cover here.
