The Drake Bulldogs go on the road to face the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers in an MVC college basketball bout.

The Drake Bulldogs are third in the MVC with wins in four of five after downing Indiana State 68-62 as a 1.5 point road dog on Saturday.

Drake was down by three at the intermission before securing the win with a 37-28 run over the second half behind 48.1% from the floor behind 48.1% shooting.

Brady Ellingston was the Bulldogs top gun with 16 points and five pulls with Nick McGlynn adding 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Noah Thomas gave Drake another 12 points and three yanks followed DJ Wilkins and Tremell Murphy with a combined 15 points.

The Loyola-Chicago Ramblers remain second in the MVC following a 65-57 loss to first place Illinois State on Saturday.

Loyola-Chicago enter the break behind by ten points but could not cut in to the deficit with only 40% marksmanship to lean on.

Marques Townes kept the Ramblers competitive with 19 points, three yanks and five helpers while Cameron Krutwig added 15 points and eleven rebounds.

Loyola-Chicago received nine points from Cooper Kaifes followed by Clayton Custer and Bruno Skokna with eight and six points.
