The Ohio Bobcats take the hardwood with the Loyola Marymount Lions in Sunday college basketball.

The Ohio Bobcats were blitzed in a 73-46 loss to South Florida on Friday as a four point favorite. Ohio mustered just 15 first half points and never recovered with only 29.1% shooting to lean on including a 2-25 performance from beyond the arc.

The struggling Bobcats offense received 13 points and four pulls from Teyvion Kirk on 5-9 marksmanship along with a game high eight turnovers. Antonio Cowart Jr. gave Ohio ten points and five boards on 4-8 from the field while Jason Carter added eight points and six rebounds on 2-8 shooting.

The Loyola Marymount Lions have been a pleasant surprise with a 4-0 start to 2018-19 following a 65-52 victory against Georgetown as a seven point underdog on Friday. Loyola Marymount trailed by five points after 20 points before exploding with a 44-26 second half run with a few more baskets, threes and free throws despite both teams hitting around 34%.

James Bateman carried the Lions offense as he led all scorers with 27 points and eight boards on 6-15 from the field and 13-13 at the stripe. Mattias Markusson  added nine points and 13 rebound on 3-8 shooting with Zafir Williams gave Loyola Marymount seven points  and four pulls.
