The Brown Bears and the Marist Red Foxes will meet up on the college basketball court on Saturday.

Brown comes in here at 7-4 on the year. The Bears have so far taken out UMass Lowell, Sacred Heart, Army, Salve Regina, Bryant, Navy and Stony Brook this season.

In the Seawolves game, Brown’s Tamenang Choh logged a double-double on 20 points with 12 rebounds, and Desmond Cambridge chipped in 16 points. Obi Okolie had a solid line as well on 14 points and five rebounds for the Bears.

Over on the Marist side, they’re sitting at 5-5 this year. The Red Foxes have thus far logged victories over Columbia, Dartmouth, LIU Brooklyn, Stetson and New Hampshire.

In the Wildcats game, Marist’s Brian Parker led the way with 13 points, five rebounds and three assists. Each Marist player who hit the floor in that one scored aside from Luke Nedrow, but he hauled in seven rebounds for a team-high in that category.

The Bears are 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the Metro Atlantic Athletic and 4-9-2 ATS in their last 15 overall. Brown is 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight road games and 5-16 ATS in their last 21 Saturday games.

Meanwhile, the Foxes are 6-1 ATS in their last seven versus the Ivy League and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 following a straight-up win. Marist is 2-5 ATS in their last seven Saturday games and the under is 5-2 in their last seven overall.

Brown hasn’t been great away from home this year, and that’s an issue which will present some trouble over their next four games.

Still, I don’t think Marist has the scoring to give a whole lot of problems, so I’m going to stick with the Bears on the cover/win.

Brown Bears +1
