Marist Red Foxes -7.5 O/U: 124
The Saint Peter’s Peacocks and the Marist Red Foxes will match up on the college basketball court Friday.
Saint Peter’s is sitting at 6-20 on the year right now. The Peacocks are currently on an eight-game losing streak, falling to Canisius, Iona, Rider and Siena in just their last four outings.
In the loss to the Saints, Saint Peter’s lead scorer was Davauhnte Turner with 16 points and two rebounds. Quinn Taylor and KC Ndefo each contributed 12 points for the Peacocks there, alongside a combined 10 rebounds.
Over on the Marist side, they’re 12-14 this season. The Red Foxes are currently on a four-game win streak, taking out Canisius, Niagara, Quinnipiac and Monmouth in that stretch.
In the win over the Hawks, Marist’s Brian Parker was the top scorer for the team on 15 points, six rebounds and four assists. Darius Hines had a solid outing in that one as well for the Foxes with 14 points, five assists and four rebounds.
The Peacocks are 4-1 ATS in their last five Friday games and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. Saint Peter’s is 0-5-1 ATS in the last six overall and the under is 3-1-1 in the last five overall.
Meanwhile, the Foxes are 4-0 ATS in the last four overall and 4-0 ATS in the last four versus the MAA. Marist is 4-1 ATS in the last five after an ATS win and the under is 4-1 in the last five after an ATS win.
Well, there’s obviously not much to get excited about when it comes to the Peacocks these days—they haven’t even seen the right side of 65 points in any of their last eight games.
As for Marist, they somehow fell 72-63 the last time these two teams met up, but at home with a superior offense they shouldn't have too many issues here. I’m sticking with the Foxes to get it right this time.
