The Jacksonville Dolphins take on the Marquette Golden Eagles on Wednesday at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Dolphins are coming off a large win over North Carolina A&T, but are coming off of a three-game losing streak before that win.
Jacksonville haven’t had a great season, resulting in a 4-5 record and fourth place in the Atlantic Sun Division. Although Jacksonville hasn’t been great this season, they do have Senior Center David Bell who is second in the conference in rebounding with 10.6 per game and leads the conference in blocks with 2.1 per game.
The Golden Eagles are coming off of a 84-63 loss to Maryland. Although the loss will be disappointing because Marquette only had one loss before that, but the way that they lost is what will frustrate fans, as many thought they would play a closer game in the end.
Marquette are 5-2 on the season, but Marquette has not been able to share the ball very well, resulting in them being in the 300’s in assists per game, only with 11.6 assists per game. However, what Marquette does have is a scorer, that is Senior guard Markus Howard, who is averaging 26 points per game. If Marquette are able to share the ball around a little bit more, while also getting Markus Howard open shots, the team will be much better this season.
Jacksonville is 4-3-1 ATS this season.
Under is 4-0 in Dolphins last 4 games following a straight-up win.
Marquette is 4-3 ATS this season.
Golden Eagles are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a double-digit loss at home.
Although Jacksonville has some good players and shouldn’t just be disregarded in this one, if Marquette does what they are supposed to do, they will win this one. Final Score Prediction, Marquette Golden Eagles wins, but our best play is under 83-70.
