As a team, Buffalo is averaging 83.9 points per game on 46.3% shooting from the field, 33.1% from behind the 3-point line and 72.8% from the foul line this season.
The Marquette Golden Eagles will look for a marquee win to add to their current 6-game winning streak after a 92-66 win over North Dakota in their last outing. Markus Howard led the Golden Eagles with 26 points on 9 of 13 shooting with 4 threes and 3 steals while Sam Hauser added 21 points on 7 of 11 shooting with 5 threes and Ed Morrow added 18 points on 8 of 12 shooting with 8 rebounds to round out the trio of double-digit scorers for Marquette in the win. Buffalo is 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games overall and 18-7-3 ATS in their last 28 road games while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games against the Big East. Marquette is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 non-conference games.
Okay, I know the Bulls are on the road, and that Marquette is a solid team offensively, especially at home where they’re outscoring their opposition by 18.4 points per game this season. However, Buffalo continues to get no respect from Vegas and they just took care of Syracuse handily in arguably one of the tougher road environments in all of college hoops. I’m buying in on Buffalo and I think the Bulls stay undefeated and win outright but I’ll take the free bucket just to be safe.
