Presbyterian Blue Hose (3-1) at Marquette Golden Eagles (2-1)
|Date & Time||Saturday November 17, 2018, 1:00 PM (EST)|
The Line: Marquette Golden Eagles -25 -- Over/Under: 143.5
The Presbyterian Blue Hose will meet up with the Marquette Golden Eagles on Saturday at Fiserv Forum.
Presbyterian comes into this game at 3-1 so far. The Hose fell in their opener to Charleston 85-73, but then bounced back versus Tennessee Tech 80-65 and took care of Welch 109-57.
In game four versus Boyce College, the Hose took a 102-49 victory. Tops in scoring for that one was Adam Flagler with 14 points and three rebounds. Lots of Presbyterian players got in on the action, with five finishing in double-figures.
Over on the Marquette side, they’re currently 2-1 this year. The Eagles took a 67-42 win over UMBC in their opener, then followed that up with a 92-59 win over B-CU. In game three versus Indiana, Marquette got drilled 96-73.
In the Hoosiers game, Marquette’s leading scorers were Sam Hauser, Markus Howard and Joey Hauser, each with 18 points. Between the three players, they provided six assists and 10 rebounds.
The Hose are 4-0 ATS in their last four non-conference games and 1-5 ATS in their last six Saturday games. Presbyterian is also 0-4 ATS in their last four following a straight-up win and the over is 4-1 in their last five non-conference games.
Meanwhile, the Eagles are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 following an ATS loss and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 following a straight-up loss. The over is 5-1 in Marquette’s last six following an ATS loss and 10-4 in their last 14 overall.
Presbyterian has had the benefit of some relatively easy matchup over the past few games, but they’ve been taking care of business and have scored 211 points over their last pair.
As for Marquette, they lost a lot of confidence from pundits after that Hoosiers defeat, where they came out pretty flat.
As of right now, I like Presbyterian to cover here. The line looks thick enough.
