CUSA college basketball action gives us a playoff bout between the Rice Owls and the Marshall Thundering Herd.

The Rice Owls enter the conference postseason off of a 78-70 loss to the Charlotte 49ers as a five point home favorite that ended a three game winning streak.

Robert Martin was the Owls top option with 15 points and five pulls with Ako Adams tossing in 14 points with two yanks and two assists.

Rice saw  13 points and four boards from Chris Mullins followed by Jack Mullins who contributed eleven points and grabbed six rebounds.

The Marshall Thundering Herd are riding a five game winning streak in to the postseason capped off by a 76-61 rout of Florida Atlantic.

Jarrod West led the Thundering Herd with 17 points, four pulls and three steals with Jon Elmore netting 16 points and hauling in ten rebounds.

CJ Burks gave Marshall eleven points and six boards while Taevion Kinsey with eleven points with the duo of Jannson Williams and Rondale Watson chipping in seven points each.

Rice Owls are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 neutral site games and  are 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall and  are 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 vs. Conference USA.

Marshall Thundering Herd are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. Conference USA and  are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Wednesday games and  are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games.

Under is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings.
