The Seton Hall Pirates and the Maryland Terrapins will match up in college basketball play on Saturday.

Seton Hall is currently sitting at 8-3 on the year. The Pirates so far have notched wins over Wagner, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Miami FL, New Hampshire, Kentucky, Rutgers and Sacred Heart.

In the Pioneers game, Seton Hall’s Sandro Mamukelashvili led the way on 23 points with eight rebounds. Myles Powell added 15 points for the Pirates while Shavar Reynolds and Michael Nzei each had 10.

Over on the Maryland side, they’re 9-2 so far. The Terrapins have taken out Delaware, Navy, NC A&T, Hofstra, Mt. St. Mary’s, Marshall, Penn State, Loyola IL and Loyola MD.

In the Greyhounds game, Maryland’s Anthony Cowan led the team with 23 points, five rebounds and five assists. Jalen Smith added 20 points and eight rebounds for the Terrapins, and Eric Ayala chipped in 13 with seven assists and six boards.

The Pirates are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 after an ATS loss. Seton Hall is 1-4 ATS in their last five non-conference games and 1-4 ATS in their last five overall.

Meanwhile, the Terrapins are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four overall and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five home games. Maryland is 30-13-4 ATS in their last 47 Saturday games and 5-12 ATS in their last 17 versus the Big East.

Over their last four games, Seton Hall has been very impressive, and the victory over Kentucky was no small feat.

The Pirates will get another good test here against Maryland, who has managed to stifle some decent-scoring teams.

I like the Terrapins to pull away late here, but this should be a good one to watch.

Maryland Terrapins -7.5
