The Fordham Rams go on the road to face the Massachusetts Minutemen in an A-10 college basketball tilt.

The Fordham Rams fell to 0-8 in the Atlantic Ten after a 79-61 defeat at George Washington as a two underdog.

Fordham was down seven at the intermission and had no answers in the second half with George Washington holding a 48.1%-35.9% shooting edge.

Jesse Bunting led the Rams offense with 19 points and five pulls followed by Nick Honor contributing another 15 points.

Fordham saw 12 points, nine rebounds and eight helpers from Antwon Portley with Jalen Cobb checking in with nine points.

The Massachusetts Minutemen are off to a 1-8 start in the Atlantic Ten after a 64-62 loss at Saint Joseph’s as a 3.5 point underdog.

Massachusetts trailed by six after 20 minutes with 46% marksmanship and 18 turnovers not overcoming the Hawks 22-11 edge at the stripe.

Rashaan Holloway kept the Minutemen in the game with 23 points and 12 rebounds with Curtis Cobb adding 13 points, five pulls and seven helpers.

Keon Clergeot gave UMass another 13 points and three yanks followed by Unique McLean and Djery Baptiste chipping in with four points each.

Fordham Rams are 16-34-1 ATS in their last 51 games overall and Fordham Rams are 8-20-1 ATS in their last 29 vs. Atlantic 10 and Fordham Rams are 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 road games. UMass Minutemen are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games following a ATS win and UMass Minutemen are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games. Over is 9-1 in the last 10 meetings in Massachusetts and Fordham Rams are 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Massachusetts.

Fordham and UMass are both struggling so I’d take a chance with the points with the visiting Rams…

Pick:
Fordham +8.5

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
