The Indiana Hoosiers and the Michigan Wolverines meet in college basketball action from Crisler Center on Sunday.
The Hoosiers come in here at 16-8 on the year. After a four-game losing streak versus Maryland, Penn State, Ohio State and Purdue, Indiana took out Iowa Thursday in their last outing.
In the win over the Hawkeyes, Indiana’s lead scorer was Devonte Green with 27 points, four rebounds and two assists. Trayce Jackson-Davis doubled up with 17 points, 10 rebounds and two assists in that one as well.
Over on the Michigan side, they’re 15-9 this season. The Wolverines are 4-1 in their last five, falling to Ohio State while otherwise beating Nebraska, Rutgers, Michigan State and Northwestern.
In the win over the Wildcats, Michigan’s Eli Brooks led the team on 18 points with five rebounds and one assist. Also in double-figures there was Isaiah Livers with 17 points, five rebounds and two assists.
The Wolverines are 13-5 ATS in their last 18 Sunday games and 20-9-1 ATS in their last 30 home games. Michigan is 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and the under is 5-2 in their last seven overall.
Meanwhile, the Hoosiers are 1-5 ATS in the last six Sunday games and 1-5 ATS in their last six road games. Indiana is 1-4 ATS in the last five overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six after an ATS win.
Indiana has played two ranked teams in their last five games, and oddly enough those are the two that they’ve been competitive in during that time. The Hoosiers were within one of Maryland, and bagged a big win over Iowa 89-77.
As for the Wolverines, they’ve stretched their legs offensively over the last two games, with 156 combined points. I feel like Indiana will come back down to earth in this one, so I’m going to stick with Michigan on the cover.
