The 10th ranked Oregon Ducks are on the road for a show down with the 5th ranked Michigan Wolverines.  The Ducks are (7-2), coming off an 89-64 win over Hawaii.  The Wolverines are (8-2), after falling on the road to Illinois, 71-62.

In the Ducks win over Hawaii, Oregon was guided by Payton Pritchard.  Pritchard secured a double-double in the win, finishing with 20 points and 11 assists.  The Ducks shot an incredible 63% from the floor and over 52% from deep.  Oregon trailed by 8 points in the first half, but would head to the locker room tied at 34.  Oregon used a tremendous run in the 2nd half, to out score Hawaii, 55 to 30.  The Ducks forced 13 turnovers.

In the Wolverines loss to Illinois, Michigan was led on offense by Jon Teske.  Teske connected on 7 of 11 from the floor, registering 16 points and 7 rebounds.  The Wolverines shot 43% from the floor and 16% from distance.  Neither team shot well from deep, as the two teams combined to go, 4 of 29.  The difference came from the foul line.  Illinois out scored Michigan from the foul line, 14 to 5.  Michigan got dominated on the boards, being out rebounded 44 to 28.

Recent Betting Trends:

Ducks are 18-2 ATS in their last 20 games.

Ducks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs the Big Ten.

The under is 5-1 in Ducks last 6 road games.

Wolverines are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games.

Wolverines are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 December games.

The over is 5-2 in Wolverines last 7 games vs the PAC-12.

This has all the intentions of being a great game. These two teams are mirror images on defense, as both are giving up between 67-68 points per game.  The same can be said on offense, as each team is averaging just below 79 points per game.  This is the Ducks first true road game of the season and because of that, I'll take the Wolverines at home.  Michigan is coming off a win and seeing their wins this year, I can't see this team losing at home.  However, these two team are to comparable on both sides of the ball, I see this game being closer than 5 points.  Final score prediction, Michigan will win but Oregon will cover, 72-69.
