Wright State at Milwaukee

Milwaukee Panthers +9 O/U: 136.5
The Wright State Raiders and the Milwaukee Panthers will match up on the college basketball circuit Saturday.
Wright State currently sits at 18-12 on the year. After a six-game win streak over IUPUI, Oakland, Detroit, Northern KY, Cleveland State and Youngstown State, the Raiders fell in their last appearance to Green Bay.
In the loss to the Phoenix, Wright State’s lead scorer was Loudon Love, with 21 points and nine rebounds. Billy Wampler added 18 points and five boards for the Raiders in that game, and Malachi Smith put up 12 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Over on the Panthers’ side, they’re 9-21 this season. Milwaukee is currently on a 10-game losing streak, and they’ve dropped to Oakland, IUPUI, UIC and Northern Kentucky in their last four outings.
In their loss to the Norse, Milwaukee’s Vance Johnson led the team on 13 points with seven rebounds and four assists. The only other Panthers player in double-figures there was Jake Wright with 10 points and two boards.
The Raiders are 6-0 ATS in their last six Saturday games and 4-0 ATS in their last four after an ATS loss. Wright State is 6-1 ATS in the last seven overall and 2-5 ATS in their last seven after a straight-up loss.
Meanwhile, the Panthers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 after an ATS win and 2-5 ATS in their last seven Saturday games. The under is 16-7 in Milwaukee’s last 23 Saturday games and the over is 7-3 in their last 10 versus a team with a winning straight-up record.
Wright State had a good second half against the Phoenix, but couldn’t overcome their 42-37 deficit at the break in that game—otherwise we’d be looking at seven straight wins.
The Raiders had some trouble at home with Milwaukee the last time these teams met up, eking out a 56-54 win, so this one has some promise. Still, given what Wright State is capable of—and the Panthers’ current scoring slump—I like the Raiders on the cover here.
