The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Mississippi State Bulldogs will meet up on the college basketball circuit Tuesday.

Alabama is sitting at 15-8 on the season. The Crimson Tide have won three of their last four games, falling to Auburn in that stretch while taking out MS State, Georgia and Vanderbilt.

In the win over the Commodores, Alabama’s Kira Lewis led the way on 18 points, four assists and two rebounds. Riley Norris doubled up for the Tide in that one with 15 points and 12 rebounds, and Dazon Ingram added 12 points.

Over on the Mississippi State side, they’re 16-7 this year. The Bulldogs have lost three of their last four games, beating Mississippi and falling to Alabama, LSU and Kentucky in that run of outings.

In the loss to the Wildcats, Mississippi State guard Lamar Peters led the team on 16 points with three rebounds and two assists. Quinndary Weatherspoon finished in double-figures for the Bulldogs there as well on 14 points and four rebounds.

Alabama is 6-1 ATS in their last seven versus the SEC and 6-2 ATS in their last eight overall. The under is 5-0 in the Tide’s last five road games and the over is 4-1 in their last five Tuesday games.
Meanwhile ,the Bulldogs are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 overall and 4-10-1 ATS in the last 15 versus the SEC. Mississippi State is 1-4 ATS in their last five home games and 0-6 ATS in their last six Tuesday games.

The last time these teams met was an 83-79 Alabama home win back on January 29. Since then, the Tide had a dud against Auburn but then bounced back with at least 77 in their next two games.

The Bulldogs have had a couple of tough draws in their last pair of games, but I do like them to get their rhythm back at home here. I’m going to stick with Mississippi State on the cover in this one.
