Mississippi State Bulldogs -11 O/U: 143.5
The Texas A&M Aggies and the Mississippi State Bulldogs will meet up on the college basketball court Saturday.
Texas A&M currently sits at 13-16 this year. The Aggies are just 1-2 in their last three gaems, with a win over Vanderbilt sandwiched between losses to LSU and South Carolina in that time.
In the loss to the Gamecocks, Texas A&M’s lead scorer was Wendell Mitchell with 15 points, six rebounds and four assists. Savion Flagg also finished in double-digits for the Aggies in that one with 14 points and 11 rebounds total.
Over on the Mississippi State side, they’re 21-9 on the season. After a nice five-game win streak heading into March, the Bulldogs have lost their last pair of outings to Auburn and Tennessee.
In the loss to the Vols, Mississippi State’s top scorer was Tyson Carter with 14 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Also finishing in double-figures with 10 points apiece for the the Bulldogs were Reggie Perry and Robert Woodard.
The Aggies are 4-0 ATS in their last four after a straight-up loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five after an ATS loss. Texas A&M is 7-2 ATS in their last nine road games and the under is 4-1 in their last five overall.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are 6-1 ATS in their last seven Saturday games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven overall. Mississippi State is 5-2 ATS in their last seven versus the SEC and 34-16-1 ATS in their last 51 after an ATS loss.
Texas A&M was down just 39-34 at the end of the first half in the South Carolina game, but really lost the handle in the second half for a 71-54 defeat. That makes a high of 64 points across the Aggies’ last three games.
Even though Mississippi State hasn’t looked great over their last couple of games, the Bulldogs should have all the potential momentum against a flailing team here so I’m sticking with them on the cover.
