SEC college basketball action heats up with the Arkansas Razorbacks visiting the Ole Miss Rebels.
The Arkansas Razorbacks aren’t going to win the SEC but a top four finish is a possibility. Arkansas has won back to back contests after downing the Vanderbilt Commodores 72-54. The Razorbacks defense stood out with just 25% shooting allowed for 14 field goals.
Daryl Macon led all scores with 21 points, four pulls and four assists on 7-17 from the floor including 4-6 from long range while Jaylen Barford and Daniel Gafford netted 16 points apiece with Gafford hauling in nine rebounds.
The Mississippi Rebels goal is to avoid the conference basement and move up a position or two for the postseason. Mississippi has dropped seven of eight after an 82-66 defeat at the LSU Tigers where the team was outshot 50%-37.1%.
The Rebels received 16 points apiece from Bruce Stevens and Deandre Burnett on 11-19 from the floor. Mississippi saw ten points from Breein Tyree on 3-11 shooting while Terence Davis added seven points and nine rebounds on 3-9 from the field.

On first glace I thought the Razorbacks were a solid choice but this should be a highly contested game…
