Missouri State Bears -7 O/U: 133.5
The Bradley Braves and the Missouri State Bears will match up on the college basketball court Saturday.
Bradley enters this one with a 10-10 mark so far. The Braves had lost five games in a row, but have gotten back on track in their last pair of outings with victories over Southern Illinois and Illinois State.
In the win over the Redbirds, Bradley’s Luuk van Bree led the team with 21 points and seven rebounds. Darrell Brown added 20 points in that one, and Elijah Childs pulled down 11 rebounds with eight points.
Over on the Missouri State side, they’re 9-11 this season. Following losses to Evansville and Drake, the Bears took out Loyola (IL) in their most recent outing on Wednesday.
In the big victory over the Ramblers, Missouri State’s Keandre Cook led the charge on 21 points and eight rebounds. Both Josh Webster and Tulio Da Silva scored 14 for the Bears in that game, combining for nine rebounds and seven assists.
The Braves are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 road games and 7-20 ATS in their last 27 Saturday games. Bradley is 2-6 ATS in their last eight overall and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 versus the MVC.
Meanwhile, the Bears are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Saturday games and 1-4 ATS in their last five after an ATS win. The under is 5-0 in MO State’s last five overall and 5-0 in their last five versus the MVC.
Bradley was skidding pretty badly during that losing streak, and though most of the games weren’t outright blowouts, the Braves couldn’t muster anything past the 64-point mark in those outings.
As for Missouri State, they’ll get a nice lift from that blowout of Loyola (70-35, and a 40-11 edge in the second half) and should come into this one on a high. I like the Bears to take a pretty solid win and cover here.
