Missouri State Bears -2.5 O/U: 144
The Evansville Purple Aces and the Missouri State Bears will meet up in college basketball activity on Wednesday.
Evansville is currently sitting at 8-9 on the season. The Aces are just 2-3 in the last five games, beating Drake and Loyola but falling to Miami OH, Illinois State and Indiana State during that time.
In the loss to the Sycamores, Evansville’s Shea Feehan was the only player in double-figures for the team on 12 points, two assists and six rebounds. John Hall got close on nine points and nine rebounds for the Aces.
Over on the Missouri State side, they’re sitting at 8-9 this year. The Bears are 3-2 in their last five games, falling to Southern Illinois and Valparaiso but beating William Woods, Indiana State and Bradley.
In the win over the Braves, Missouri State’s Tulio Da Silva led the team on a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Jarred Dixon added 15 points as the only other Bear in double-figures in that one.
The Purple Aces are 6-0 ATS in their last six Wednesday games and 7-0-1 ATS in their last eight following an ATS loss. Evansville is 14-3-1 ATS in their last 18 following a straight-up loss and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 overall.
Meanwhile, the Bears are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and 2-5 ATS in their last seven following an ATS win. The over is 5-0 in the Bears’ last five home games and 4-1 in their last five Wednesday games.
Evansville just doesn’t look good these days—especially on offense. Across their last five games, the Aces have gotten above 67 points just one time (82 in a five-point win over Drake).
Missouri State isn’t exactly lighting up the scoreboard with any consistency either, but I trust them a little more right now. I’m going to stick with the Bears in this one.
