The Indiana State Sycamores take the floor at the Missouri State Bears in a Saturday college basketball tilt.

Indiana State looks to build on a 73-50 victory against visiting Illinois State on Wednesday as a 1.5 point home favorite.

Indiana State is next to last in the Missouri Valley but could be playing their best basketball with a 3-2 record the past five contests.

Tyreke Key was key to the Sycamores upset with 21 points and five pulls with Cooper Neese netting 17 points and snagging three boards.

Indiana State received eight points from Bronson Kessinger followed by Emondre Rickman and De’Avion Washington with six points and five pulls each.

The Missouri State Bears are hoping to rebound from a 63-43 loss to visiting Northern Iowa on Wednesday as a six point favorite.

Missouri State had won seven of eight before their offense fizzled in Wednesday’s loss but the team is still third in the Missouri Valley.

Jared Dixon was the Bears only double digit scorer with 14 points while Tulio Da Silva tossed in nine points and hauled in 13 rebounds.

Josh Webster, Keandre Cook and Ryan Kreklow each scored four points and combined for eleven rebounds but the offense had zero punch overall.

Indiana State Sycamores are 8-18 ATS in their last 26 vs. Missouri Valley and Indiana State

Sycamores are 8-20 ATS in their last 28 games following a ATS win.

Missouri State Bears are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss and Missouri State Bears are 8-18 ATS in their last 26 Saturday games.

Over is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings and Indiana State Sycamores are 2-5-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings.

Missouri State has to win to control their own fate but I hate giving away those points…

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
