Wednesday college basketball action pits the Southern Illinois Salukis against the Missouri State Bears.

The Southern Illinois Salukis are eyeing a third straight win after downing Bradley 72-68 as a 1.5 point road favorite on Saturday.

Southern Illinois rallied from a ten point deficit with a 48-34 second half run behind 43.6% shooting and a 19-6 edge at the line.

Kavion Pippen carried the Salukis 20 points and six boards followed by Sean Lloyd Jr. who added 16 points and seven rebounds.

Armon Fletcher gave Illinois State 14 points and four pulls while Aaron Cook tossed in another 14 points with three yanks.

The Missouri State Bears were denied a 4thconsecutive victories in a 64-59 loss at Northern Iowa as a one point road dog.

This was close throughout with Missouri State getting outshot 52.4%-47.6% which added up to a decisive two extra field goals.

Tulio Da Silva was the Bears top offensive weapon with 17 points and five pulls with Keandre Cook adding 15 points and five boards.

Josh Webster gave Missouri State nine points and six helpers followed by Jarred Dixon and Ryan Kreklow with seven points apiece.
