The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Missouri Tigers will meet up on the college basketball circuit Wednesday.

Alabama enters this game with a 10-5 record on the year. Following a five-game winning streak, the Crimson Tide have lost their last two outings versus LSU and Texas A&M.

In the loss to the Aggies, the lead Tide scorer was John Petty with 22 points, four rebounds and one assist. Donta’ Hall doubled up for Alabama on 14 points and 16 rebounds, and Kira Lewis logged 14 points with three assists.

Over on the Missouri side, they’re 9-5 this year so far. Following a six-game winning streak, the Tigers have lost their last two outings versus Tennessee and South Carolina.

In the loss to the Gamecocks, Missouri’s Javon Pickett led the team on 21 points, two rebounds and two assists. Jordan Geist and Mark Smith each scored 14 points for the Tigers, with a combined seven assists and five rebounds between them.

The Tide are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five Wednesday games and 1-5 ATS in the last six road games. Alabama is 0-4-1 ATS in their last five following an ATS loss and the over is 4-0 in their last four road games.

Meanwhile, the Tigers are 7-1 ATS in their last eight Wednesday games and 5-1-1 ATS in the last seven home games. Missouri is also 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight overall and 2-6 ATS in their last eight versus the SEC.

The Tide had a commanding 43-32 lead over the Aggies at halftime, but gave up 49 points in the second half to eventually fall 81-80 in a very frustrating game. Alabama seems to loosen the reins in the second half of games, which can be a double-edged sword on the scoreboard.

As for Missouri, they were drilled by Tennessee and didn’t play all that well against a Gamecocks team they should have beaten. I like the Tigers to bounce back here and make a good effort at a victory.
