The Montana State Bobcats host the Sacramento State Hornets in a Saturday Big Sky college basketball bout.
The Sacramento State Hornets dropped to 0-2 in the Big Sky following an 87-56 defeat at Montana as a 13.5 point underdog on Thursday. Sacramento State fell behind by ten at the half and were overwhelmed with only 38.2% marksmanship to lean on.
Marcus Graves was the only Hornets player to crack double figures in the scoring column with ten points with three pulls and four steals. Joshua Patton gave Sacramento State eight points and three yanks with Chibueze Jacobs contributing another eight points.
Montana State upped their conference record to 2-1 after outscoring Portland State 98-88 on Thursday as a three point home favorite. Montana State jumped to a ten point lead at the half and traded baskets the rest of the way behind 53.6% shooting.
The Bobcats saw Tyler Hall lead all scorers with 32 points and five pulls with Harald Frey adding 25 points, six boards and seven assists.
Lassi Nikkarinen gave Montana State ten points while Devin Kirby and Keljin Blevins combined for 17 points and nine boards.
