The Eastern Washington Eagles had their 3-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 8-14 (6-5 Big Sky) on the season after being defeated by the Montana State Bobcats, 74-66, this past Thursday night. Eastern Washington led by a 59-49 margin with 8:50 left in regulation, however, struggled offensively down the stretch and couldn’t hold on for the victory after the Bobcats finished the final 2:35 of regulation on a 10-0 run. Eastern Washington shot 41.5% from the field and 28.0% from beyond the arc in the loss. The Montana Grizzlies won their 6th straight game and improved to 16-6 (9-2 Big Sky) on the season after defeating the Idaho Vandals, 100-59, this past Thursday. Montana was outstanding on both ends of the court agianst the overmatched Vandals and had no trouble securing the victory after taking a 59-25 halftime lead. Montana shot 56.3% from the field and forced Idaho into committing 22 turnovers in the victory. Leading the way for the Grizzlies was Sayeed Pridgett who had 21 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals.

The Eagles are 5-18 ATS in their last 23 games overall and just 3-13 ATS in their last 16 road games. The Grizzlies are 17-7-1 ATS in their last 25 games following an ATS win, however, are just 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record.
Eastern Washington has won 5 of their last 7 games, however, the Eagles have struggled on both sides of the ball this season as they rank just 256th in scoring offense, 304th in FG%, and 292nd in scoring defense.
Montana has won 10 of their last 12 games and has been solid on both ends of the court this season as the Grizzlies rank 80th in scoring offense, 19th in FG%, and 88th in scoring defense.
Eastern Washington has been playing better as of late which included a 78-71 victory against Montana in mid-January and although he Eagles are just 1-11 on the road this season, I think that Mason Peatling will do enough on the offensive end to keep this one within this large number. Take Eastern Washington and the points. Good Luck!
