Monday college basketball pits the North Dakota State Bison at the Montana Grizzlies.
The North Dakota State Bison are looking for their third straight win after upending visiting Missouri State as a one point favorite. North Dakota State burned the nets at 55% but 19 turnovers gave the 41.8% shooting Bears 27 more looks at the basket.
Vinnie Shahid gave the Bison attack some explosiveness with 19 points and four pulls on 5-8 marksmanship and 8-9 at the line followed by Rocky Kreuser and Jared Samuelson with ten points each with Krueser posting five boards. NDSU received nine points and six rebounds from Tyson Ward on 4-6 followed by and eight point, four board effort by Tyree Eady.
The Montana Grizzlies have dropped three of four after a tough 60-51 defeat at UC Irvine as a 4.5 point road underdog. Montana trailed by one heading to the intermission but managed just 25 second half points behind 36% shooting with the Anteaters connecting at 40% and sinking five more free throws.
Michael Oguine kept the Grizzlies competitive with 16 points, five boards and three steals on 4-9 from the floor and 5-6 at the stripe. Sayeed Pridgett gave Montana 13 points, three yanks and three steals on 6-12 accuracy while Ahmaad Rorie and Jamar Akoh combined for 13 points with Ahoh hauling in a game high eight rebounds.
