As a team, Northern Colorado is averaging 77.2 points per game on 46.3% shooting from the field, 36.8% from behind the arc and 71.2% from the foul line this season.
The Montana Grizzlies will look to stay hot after pushing their winning streak to double-digits, making it 10 victories in a row after an 89-83 win over Montana State in their last outing. Sayeed Pridgett led the Grizzlies with 20 points on 10 of 16 shooting while Kendal Manuel came right behind with 19 points in 18 minutes with 5 threes and Ahmaad Rorie followed with 18 points on 7 of 13 shooting with 4 threes and team-highs of 7 rebounds and 8 assists. As a team, Montana is averaging 77.8 points per game on 49.2% shooting from the field, 38.4% from behind the arc and 68.7% from the foul line this season.
Northern Colorado is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games following a loss. Montana is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 games overall. Northern Colorado is 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.
This should be a great game between the top two teams in the Big Sky right now, but with that said, I thought the line would be a bit larger. Montana has been on fire during their 10-game winning streak, scoring at least 80 points on seven different occasions, including an 88-64 win over Northern Colorado on the road this season. The Bears have been a tough out on the road, and Montana hasn’t been overly solid at home, but that loss to Eastern Washington dealt a blow to my confidence in Northern Colorado heading into this game. I’ll take a shot and I’ll lay the points with Montana here.
