Sunday college basketball action pits the Howard Bison against the Morgan State Bears.

The Howard Bison look to build upon a 74-73 victory against the Coppin State Eagles on Saturday as a two point road favorite.

Howard stopped a two game skid with the win and remain in 6thwith three games left and need to end the year strong and get some help to move up the standings.

RJ Cole carried the Bison with 19 points, four pulls and seven assists with Charles Williams contributing another 15 points.

Chad Lott gave Howard 13 points, three yanks and five assists followed by Raymond Bethea Jr. and Andre Toure with a combined 19 points.

The Morgan State Bears are hoping to shake off a 75-74 defeat to the visiting Norfolk State Spartans on Saturday as a 2.5 point underdog.

The Bears have been relegated to playing the role of spoiler with losses in seven of eight that has the team looking at 10thin the MEAC.

Stanley Davis led Morgan State with 13 points and 12 rebounds followed Kyson Rawls with another 13 points and five helpers.

David Syfax gave the Bears 12 points and ten rebounds while Sherwyn Devonish-Prince Jr. and Isaiah Burke tossed in eleven points each.
