The Murray State Racers will look to build on a 110-82 win over Subdivision Bethel in their last outing. Ja Morant led the Racers with 23 points along with a game-high 13 assists (which was as many as Bethel had as a team) along with 4 steals. Tevin Brown added 18 points on 6 of 12 shooting with 3 threes, 5 assists and 3 steals, while KJ Williams chipped in 16 points on 8 of 10 shooting. Morehead State is 10-4-2 ATS in their last 16 road games and 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 Thursday games. Murray State is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games overall while the under is 6-1 in their last 7 conference games. Morehead State is 8-20-1 ATS in the last 29 meetings between these two teams and 3-10-1 ATS in the last 14 meetings between these two teams at Murray State.
The logical pick for this game would be Murray State off the top because the Racers have had the majority of the success between these two teams for quite some time now. However, even at 0-6 SU on the road this season, you could argue that the Eagles have had the tougher schedule of the two, with losses on the road to Missouri, Marshall, Syracuse and Connecticut. Furthermore, the line is set at 14.5 at the time of posting this article, and even with all the tough competition, the Eagles have yet to lose by more than 14 on the road this season, so I’ll take a shot with Morehead State and the points in this one.
