The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets snapped their 2-game losing streak and improved to 13-17 (5-12 ACC) on the season after defeating the Boston College Eagles, 81-78 in OT, this past Sunday. Georgia Tech allowed Boston College to fight back from a 40-33 halftime deficit to force OT, however, the Yellow Jackets were able to pull away in OT for the victory after a Michael Devoe three-pointer gave Georgia Tech a 79-74 lead with just 1:19 left in OT. Georgia Tech shot 50.8% from the field and held Boston College to just 17.6% shooting from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Yellow Jackets was Jose Alvarado who had 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.

Defensively, Georgia Tech is holding their opponents to an average of 66.4 ppg on 40.2% shooting from the field. The Yellow Jackets have a rebound margin of -2.4 and a turnover margin of -1.4.
The NC State Wolfpack had their 2-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 20-9 (8-8 ACC) on the season after being defeated by the 18th ranked Florida State Seminoles, 78-73, this past Saturday. NC State gave Florida State all they could handle, however, the Seminoles were able to pull away late in the 2nd half after taking a 76-70 lead with 1:09 left in regulation. NC State allowed Florida State to shoot 48.1% from the field and was outrebounded by the Seminoles by a 37-30 margin. Leading the way for the Wolfpack DJ Funderburk who had 18 points and 9 rebounds
On the season, NC State is averaging 82.0 ppg on 46.8% shooting from the field. The Wolfpack are averaging 8.4 three-pointers per game on 36.9% shooting from beyond the arc. The Yellow Jackets are 26-11-1 ATS in their last 38 Wednesday games, however, are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following an ATS win. The Wolfpack are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall, however, are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss.
Georgia Tech has lost 9 of their last 11 games and although their defense has been solid, ranking 51st in scoring defense & 20th in defensive FG%, the Yellow Jackets have really struggled offensively as they come into this match-up ranked just 328th in scoring offense.
NC State has won 4 of their last 6 games and has been led by their offense that ranks 20th in scoring offense, 60th in FG%, and 69th in 3P-FG%.
Georgia Tech is coming off a nice victory over Boston College, however, it’s been a tough season for the Yellow Jackets as their offense has really struggled. NC State is an impressive 15-3 at home this season, while the Yellow Jackets are just 2-9 on the road, and as I just don’t see how Georgia Tech offense will be able to keep up with the Wolfpack in this one, I think NC State pulls away in the 2nd half and covers this double-digit spread. Good Luck!
