The North Dakota Fighting Hawks take the floor against the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks in Summit League college basketball postseason action.

The North Dakota Fighting Hawks begin the postseason off of a 78-63 defeat at the hands of the South Dakota Coyotes as a 6.5 point underdog.

Cortez Seales starred for the Fighting Hawks with 19 points and three yanks followed by Marlon Stewart with another 17 points and five helpers.

North Dakota received 12 points and nine rebounds from Connor Avants while Filip Rebranca chipped in with eight points and five boards.

The Fighting Hawks closed their schedule with wins in three of four but struggled otherwise with the team sitting 7thin the conference standings.

The surging Nebraska Omaha Mavericks head to the postseason off of 86-76 rout of Denver as a four point road favorite.

JT Gibson paced the big offense of the Mavericks with 22 points, four pulls and five helpers with Matt Pile adding 18 points and five pulls.

Nebraska Omaha saw 18 points and seven rebounds from Mitchell Hahn followed by Zach Jackson with 14 points and six boards.

The Mavericks secured second in the Summit League by winning eight of ten with the offense averaging over 80 points in that stretch.
