The #18 Nevada Wolf Pack take the floor at the San Diego State Aztecs in a Saturday college basketball matchup.

The Nevada Wolf Pack bounced back from a loss at Utah State to upend the Air Force Falcons 90-79 as a 14.5 point road favorite.

Jazz Johnson led the big Wolf Pack offense with 27 points and two yanks with Cody Martin adding 18 points, three pulls and five assists.

Caleb Martin gave Nevada 16 points, seven boards and five helpers followed by a combined 21 points from Tre’Shawn Thurman and Jordan Caroline with Caroline hauling in ten rebounds.

The San Diego State Aztecs saw a late rally fall short in a 76-74 loss to the visiting Fresno State Bulldogs as a 3.5 point home favorite on Wednesday.

Jalen  McDaniels  and  Devin Watson  led  the balanced  Aztecs attack  with  16 points each with nine rebounds and five helpers.

San Diego State received 15 points, five pulls and three assists from Jeremy Hemsley followed by Nathan Mensah with 12 points and seven rebounds.

San Diego State Aztecs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss and  are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall and  are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 vs. Mountain West.

Nevada Wolf Pack are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall and  are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. Mountain West.

San Diego State Aztecs are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings and under is 6-2-1 in the last 9 meetings and favorite is 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings.

Nevada has to win to grab a share of the Mountain West but I’d rather take the points small or do nothing…

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
