UNM -5.5 Total 146.5
The Boise State Broncos go to Albuquerque, New Mexico to take on the New Mexico Lobos on Wednesday at the Dreamstyle Arena. The Boise State Broncos are coming off of a big win over UNC Wilmington, and the Broncos are on a three-game winning streak after not winning more than one game before that.
Boise State has been incredibly inconsistent this season so far. The Broncos went and won their opener, then lost two straight, and now have won three straight. Not much is known about how serious or unserious to take the Boise State Broncos at the moment. What we do know is that the Boise State is that they have a great scorer in Junior guard Derek Alston, Who is averaging 21.8 points per game this season.
New Mexico is coming into this one on a two-game win streak. The Lobos defeated Montana in their last game, beating them 72-63. Lobos won largely in part due to the three-point shooting as New Mexico was 46.2% from the three-point line.
Mexico have had had a very good start to the season as they are 72 on the season and in third place in the Mountain West Conference. The Lobos have Senior Forward Carlton Bragg Jr who averaged 11.9 points per game and 9.8 rebounds per game.
Boise State is 3-2 ATS this season.
Broncos are 10-21-1 ATS in their last 32 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record
New Mexican is 4-4 ATS this season.
Lobos are 35-15-2 ATS in their last 52 Wednesday games.
This game is a bigger test for Boise State than it is for New Mexico. However, this game will show how serious we should take each team. I'm not sure if I believe in Boise State or New Mexico at this point in the season, but I do like Boise State due to their run of games, and I like Boise State to pull off the upset here. Boise State Broncos wins but our best play is under 82 - 78.
