Michael Steadman was the Spartans best offensive option with 16 points and three yanks with Christian Anigwe added ten points and 12 points.
San Jose State saw eight points from Noah Baumann followed by the twosome of Zach Chappell and Brian Rodriguez-Flores with seven points each.
The New Mexico Lobos have dropped three of four after a 91-62 rout at the hands of Nevada as a 20 point underdog on Saturday.
New Mexico was staring at a 25 point deficit at the intermission and never challenged with the Wolf Pack holding a 50%-33.3% shooting edge.
Makuach Maluach paced the Lobos attack with 19 points and seven rebounds with Carlton Bragg adding 13 points and eight boards.
New Mexico received nine points from Keith McGee followed by Anthony Mathis and Vance Jackson with six and five points.
San Jose State Spartans are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 vs. Mountain West and San Jose State Spartans are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall.
New Mexico Lobos are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and New Mexico Lobos are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
San Jose State Spartans are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings and San Jose State Spartans are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in New Mexico.
San Jose State is obviously struggling but I don’t want any parts of New Mexico laying a ton of points either…
