The Wyoming Cowboys fell to Utah State 71-55 to fall to 0-4 in the Mountain West as a 14.5 point home underdog.
Wyoming trailed by seven points at the half way point and never mounted a comeback with Utah State holding a 47.4%-40% shooting edge.
Justin James was the main weapon for the Cowboys with 27 points and ten rebounds while Trevon Taylor adding 14 points and three yanks.
The Cowboys lacked secondary production with the rest of the team combining for only 19 points and 13 rebounds.
The New Mexico Lobos look to bounce back from a 97-77 rout at San Diego State on Tuesday as a seven point underdog.
New Mexico struggled at both ends of the floor with 42.9% shooting and 17 giveaways while San Diego State fired away at 55.1%.
Anthony Mathis pumped in 21 points for the Lobos while Vance Johnson followed with a 16 point effort with six rebounds.
Carlton Bragg gave New Mexico 12 points and four pulls while Dane Kuiper and Keith McGee tossed in eleven and eight points.
