The Wyoming Cowboys go on the road to oppose the New Mexico Lobos in Saturday college basketball.

The  Wyoming Cowboys  fell  to Utah  State  71-55 to fall to 0-4  in  the Mountain  West  as a 14.5  point  home underdog.

Wyoming trailed by seven points at the half way point and never mounted a comeback with Utah State holding a 47.4%-40% shooting edge.

Justin James was the main weapon for the Cowboys with 27 points and ten rebounds while Trevon Taylor adding 14 points and three yanks.

The Cowboys lacked secondary production  with  the rest of the team combining for only 19 points and 13 rebounds.

The New Mexico Lobos look  to bounce  back from  a 97-77  rout at San  Diego  State on Tuesday as a seven point underdog.

New Mexico struggled at both ends of the floor with 42.9% shooting and 17 giveaways while San Diego State fired away at 55.1%.

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
