The Norfolk State Spartans face the North Carolina Central Eagles for the MEAC championship in Saturday college basketball action.
The North Carolina Central Eagles squeezed by the North Carolina A&T Aggies 65-63 to advance to the MEAC championship.

Raasean Davis led the Eagles with a game high 19 points and six boards with Randy Miller Jr. adding another 17 points and four helpers.

North Carolina Central received nine points and three yanks from Larry McKnight Jr. followed by Zacarry Douglas with eight points and eight rebounds.

The Norfolk State Spartans outlasted the upset minded Howard Bison 75-69 on Friday night to earn a spot in the MEAC championship. 

Steven Whitley carried the Spartans offense, pouring In a contest high 24 points with five pulls and three assists with Derrik Jamerson Jr. netting 15 points.

Mastadi Pitt gave Norfolk State gave 14 points, six boards and four assists followed by Jordan Butler with ten points and a game high ten rebounds.

North Carolina Central Eagles are 6-1-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall and are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 neutral site games and  are 3-1-2 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win and  are 19-7-2 ATS in their last 28 vs. Mid-Eastern Athletic.
