The North Carolina Central  Eagles host the Delaware State Hornets in MEAC college basketball.

The struggles of the Delaware State Hornets continued in an 83-53 defeat at North Carolina A&T as a 12 point underdog on Saturday.

Delaware State was down ten points at the intermission with the Aggies pouring it on over the final 20 minutes with DSU hitting shots at 25.4%.

Ameer Bennett paced the Hornets offense with 13 points and five pulls with Kevin Larkin adding 12 points and eleven rebounds.

D’Marco Baucum gave Delaware State another ten points and five boards followed by Myles Carter who tossed in seven points.

The North Carolina Central Eagles are 5thin the MEAC after racing by Maryland E. Shore 78-53 on Saturday as a 12 point home favorite.

North Carolina Central  jumped to a 14 point lead heading to the locker room and never took their foot off the gas behind 57.1% marksmanship.

Raasean Davis poured in a game high 21 points and hauled in eleven rebounds with Zachary Douglas adding 14 points and four pulls.

The Eagles received 13 points and four yanks from Larry McKnight Jr. followed by Jibri Blount with 12 points and five boards.
