The North Carolina State Wolfpack battle the Harvard Crimson in Sunday NIT college basketball action.
The Harvard Crimson kicked off the NIT with a 71-68 upset of the Georgetown Hoyas as a six point underdog on Wednesday night.
The Crimson sank shots at 47.2% and limited the Hoyas to 40.3% but 14 giveaways led to nine more shots for Georgetown.
Bryce Aiken topped Harvard with 18 points and four pulls along with a team high six TO while Noah Kirkwood added eleven points, four pulls and seven helpers.
Robert Baker gave the Crimson another eleven points and three yanks with Chris Lewis and Justin Bassey combining for 19 points and 12 rebounds.
The North Carolina State Wolfpack began play in the NIT by outscoring the Hofstra Pride 84-78 as an eight point favorite on Monday.
The Wolfpack rallied from a three point deficit at the halfway point behind a 44%-41.5% shooting edge with 18 offensive boards leading to ten more shots.
Markell Johnson led the NC State comeback with 26 points, seven boards and five assists with CJ Bryce tossing in 18 points and hauling in eleven rebounds.
The Wolfpack saw 19 points and another nine rebounds from Torin Dorn while Braxton Beverly chipped in with nine points and four pulls.
