The Saint Peter’s Peacocks cab shake up the college basketball world with an upset of the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

The Saint Peter’s Peacocks look to get back in the win column after a 71-63 defeat to Bryant saddled the team with back to back losses. Saint Peter’s held a 46%-43.9% shooting edge but Bryant won because of 13 long balls.

Samuel Idowu carried the Peacocks as he poured in a contest high 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds on 11-15 marksmanship. St. Peter’s received ten points from Davauhnte Turner while Quinn Taylor added nine points, six boards and three assists.

The North Carolina State Wolfpack have been unchallenged in winning four straight to begin 2018-19. NC State downed Maine 82-63 as a 24 point lead heading to the locker room was too much to overcome for the Black Bears with 17 turnovers leading to 20 more Wolfpack shots.

Tom Dorin topped the Wolfpack with 15 points, five pulls and four steals on 7-13 from the field followed by CJ Bryce with 14 points, eight rebounds and four assists on 4-7 shooting. NC State saw 13 points and five assists from Markell Johnson while Eric Lockett added nine points and five rebounds on 4-5.

Under is 8-2 in Saint Peter’s last 10 overall and Saint Peter’s are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 Tuesday games and under is 35-15-1 in Saint Peter’s last 51 road games. Under is 10-1 in NC State last 11 Tuesday games and NC State are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 home games.

I’m not really interested in backing either side in all honesty but I’ll throw this out there…

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
