The #17 Florida State Seminoles clash with the #9 North Carolina Tar Heels in ACC college basketball.

The surging Florida State Seminoles ran by the Clemson Tigers 77-64 on Tuesday night as a two point underdog on the road.

Florida State has racked up wins in eight straight and are 4thin the top heavy ACC but have to guard against complacency with several weeks left in the season.

The balanced Seminoles offense saw 19 points and eleven rebounds from Mfiondu Kabengele with Trent Forrest adding 14 points and eight boards.

FSU received ten points and another seven boards from Christ Koumajde followed by MJ Walker and Terance Mann with nine points apiece.

The North Carolina Tar Heels are gunning for a third win in a row after routing Duke 88-72 who only saw Zion Williamson play a minute before he sprained his knee.

North Carolina benefitted from the Blue Devils misfortune and showed no mercy with the team still in the running for first in the conference.

Luke Maye exploded for the Tar Heels with a monster 30 point, 15 rebound effort with Cameron Johnson pumping in 26 points with seven boards and four assists.

Garrison Brooks added 14 points  and  eight rebounds  followed by Coby White with another eight points and five boards.

Florida State Seminoles are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games and Florida State Seminoles are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

North Carolina Tar Heels are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall and North Carolina Tar Heels are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 vs. Atlantic Coast.

Over is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in North Carolina and over is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings.

The number that interests me is the over with North Carolina and Florida State putting up points…

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
