ACC college basketball gives a matchup between the Miami Hurricanes and the #8 North Carolina Tar Heels.

The Miami Hurricanes defeated Notre Dame 62-47 on Wednesday as a 3.5 home favorite which ended a five game slide.

Miami was up five points heading to the locker room with the defensive end of the floor allowing 32.1% from the floor and forcing 14 TO.

Dejan Vaseljevic topped the balanced Hurricanes with 15 points and ten rebounds with Ebuka Izindu adding 14 points and seven boards.

Miami saw eleven points and 12 rebounds from Anthony Lawrence II followed by Chris Lykes with another eleven points.

The #8 North Carolina Tar Heels have racked up five straight victories after pounding NC State 113-96 as a ten point home fave.

North Carolina ran out to a 16 point lead after 20 minute and were never challenged behind 56.1% marksmanship and a 31-37 effort at the line.

Luke Maye gave the Tar Heels 31 points and 12 rebounds with Coby White tossing in 21 points and logging in  four helpers.

UNC received 17 points from the twosome of Cameron Johnson and Kenny Williams followed by Nassir Little with 12 points and six boards.
